We would be pleased to assist you with the following Real Estate matters and offer all-inclusive rates for your convenience:

Residential purchase: $1195.00 +HST Includes legal fees and disbursements. Title insurance is not included. Registration cost of transfer/deed and mortgage is not included. Land Transfer Tax is also not included, however if you are a first time home buyer, you are eligible for a rebate.
Residential sale: $795 +HST Includes legal fees and disbursements
Residential Mortgage Refinance: $895.00 +HST Includes legal fees and disbursements. Title insurance and registration cost of mortgage is not included.

If you are considering purchasing a new home from a builder, we will gladly review the agreement at no cost to you, provided, if you decide to go ahead with the purchase, you retain us to help you with the transaction.

Similarly, if you are considering purchasing a condominium, we will gladly review the condominium status certificate which details the financial information about the condominium unit as well as the condominium corporation at no cost to you, provided, if you decide to go ahead with the purchase, you retain us to help you with the transaction.

If you are buying or selling property without using a real estate agent, you can rely on our skill and expertise to help the process go smoothly. We will help you prepare your own agreement before sending it to the vendors/purchasers and ensure that your interests are being represented.

Why do I need a lawyer?

  • In Ontario, only a lawyer can register a transfer of land;
  • In Ontario, a lawyer has a trust account that the mortgage or sale proceeds can be deposited into; and
  • An Ontario lawyer is trained and experienced in the laws that govern real property in Ontario;
